The small, smart and compact BT Levio P has proven its success prior to winning over the Japanese and German jury. So far this year, the Levio has already received the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Award, as well as the Swedish Grand Award of Design Finalist Award. The German Design Award is the international premier prize for excellent product design awarded by the German design council. The German Design Award jury, known for its exacting standards, has previously nominated three of Toyota’s trucks for the award, and given one of them its Special Mention. The design team at Toyota is therefore excited to be a winner of this award for the very first time.
The electrically-powered BT Levio P is all about simplicity. The clean and minimalistic design gives the truck an appealing look. The Japanese Good Design Award jury agreed on this and stated that “This pallet truck has a stylish form that makes you want to take it for a spin…”
Designed at Toyota’s Design Center in Sweden, the BT Levio P offers excellent manoeuvrability and comfort for the driver, and is ideal for high-performance work in confined areas. Unique in the market is the truck’s tiller arm, which can be adjusted to suit each individual driver. Apart from the truck’s celebrated design qualities, the electric BT Levio P with driver platform has proven to be a resounding market success.
Design Awards, celebrating “unique design trends”, will be presented at the Ambiente International Trade Fair in Frankfurt am Main, between 12 and 15 February 2016.
